Paul Pogba has joked that Manchester United should drop him from the starting XI after it emerged that the team has performed better without him this season.
Despite his importance to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, the Red Devils surprisingly average more points-per-game when Pogba isn't on the pitch.
According to the figures, the Old Trafford outfit average 2.2 points-per-game compared to 1.9 when Pogba plays.
And that was put to him by French TV network Canal+, the 28-year-old took that in good jest - adding that he hopes he can improve the statistic when he starts.
