Manchester United defender Brandon Williams has been fined £1,000 for failing to give information to police about a speeding offence.
The 20-year-old was represented at Mould Magistrates Court on Thursday by celebrity lawyer Nick Freeman after a car registered in the player's name was caught speeding on a north Wales road.
The court was told that police sent a form to Williams, who registered the car to an address in Manchester over the offence, which his father Paul completed after admitting to being the driver.
The prosecuting lawyer then said a response had been sent directly to Williams for him to complete, which he failed to do so.
