Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a £76million deal for Red Bull Salzburg wonderkid Erling Braut Haaland in January but will have to loan him back for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old forward has attracted interest from clubs in Europe after impressing for Salzburg in the Champions League and Austrian Bundesliga this season.
And United appear to be leading the race for Haaland with an agreement near if he returns to Salzburg for the second half of the 2019-20 campaign, according to The Sun.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hinted at a move for Haaland next month on Sunday after being asked about visiting the forward.
