Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has confirmed he sustained broken ribs after his taxi driver took a 'wrong turn' and crashed into a pole in the centre of Amsterdam on Thursday night.
The Argentine tweeted to thank his fans for the messages of support as well as the staff at the VU University Medical Amsterdam, who treated him and his friend following the incident.
He also posted a photo of himself back in Manchester City kit, saying that while the injury hurts, he was saved from something far more serious because he was wearing a seat belt.
