Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy relaxed as he undergoes surgery after being wheeled to operating theatre by Stoke forward Jese Rodriguez's lookalike

Manchester City left back Benjamin Mendy appeared in good spirits, despite undergoing surgery after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee

City's £52million summer signing is out for seven months, but seemed happy enough in hospital - after he found a striking resemblance between the nurse pushing him and Stoke forward Jese Rodriguez.
