A Manchester United chief has broken silence on Mason Greenwood's future at Old Trafford, insisting the club has performed a 'detailed and thorough internal investigation' following his dropped criminal charges.
Greenwood, who has not featured for the Red Devils since he was arrested in January 2022 for attempted rape, assault and coercive control, had his charges dropped in February and is now waiting to learn his fate in football.
The Premier League club have remained silent on the issue for several months while undergoing their own investigation.
But now, United's chief operating officer Collette Roche has finally opened up on the internal five-month probe.
