Man of the Match goes to... 'The Post!' West Ham fans choose upright as winner with 57 per cent of Twitter vote after Hull hit woodwork three times

West Ham fans showed they have a sense of humour after a lucky escape in their 1-0 win against Hull.

The club ran a poll on Twitter in which supporters have their say on Man of the Match only this time none of the players claimed the award.

With 57 per cent of the vote, 'The Post' took the prize as Hull were thwarted on three occasions by the upright.

Andy Carroll (14 per cent), Winston Reid (12 per cent) and Cheikhou Kouyate (17 per cent) all finished behind 'The Post' in the online vote.
