Manchester City's Erling Haaland scored four times against Wolves, including two penalties, to keep the pressure on Arsenal in the title race.
The Norwegian also opened up his lead in the battle for the Golden Boot, scoring a first-half hat-trick including his two spot-kicks either side of a header.
Hwang Hee-chan pulled a goal back for Wolves - who were without manager Gary O'Neil, who was serving a one-match touchline ban - but Haaland got his fourth a minute later, with substitute Julian Alvarez adding a fifth late on.
