Man City 2-2 Brighton: Abdukodir Khusanov own goal sees Pep Guardiola's side drop more points

Manchester City dropped points at home for the sixth time in the Premier League this season as they twice blew the lead to draw with Brighton on Saturday.

City went ahead in the 11th minute when Erling Haaland scored his 29th club goal of the season by converted a penalty kick awarded for an Adam Webster foul on Omar Marmoush.

Winter signing Marmoush then scored himself with a right-footed rocket from 23 yards but only after Pervis Estupinan had equalised for Brighton with a brilliantly-placed free-kick.

Brighton scored a second leveller just three minutes into the second half when Abdukodir Khusanov bundled the ball into his own net.
