PSL Champions Mamelodi Sundowns ended their excellent season in style as they claimed a 3-0 win over Cape Town City on Saturday evening.
Lakay Lyle's perfect free-kick and a brace by Peter Shalulile was all the Brazilians needed at Loftus Versfeld Stadium to bag maximum points.
It was the visitors who started the game on a high; Kennedy Mweene was called into action after just three minutes. A good pass from the midfield caught the defenders out of position and Fagrie Lakay managed to put himself in a one-on-one situation with the Zambia shot-stopper. However, the latter pulled a great save to send the ball out for an unfruitful corner.
