Mamelodi Sundowns have officially confirmed the departure of Percy Tau from the club.
The 24-year-old attacker had been in talks with Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion over a possible move, and following Patrice Motsepe's intervention a few weeks ago, Sundowns finally allowed him to leave.
Tau jetted off to the UK this week to undergo a medical which he passed on Thursday, and Sundowns' statement means that the deal with Brighton is done and dusted.
Brighton are yet to officially unveil the South Africa international as their player, but with Sundowns have already announced his departure, his sale could be announced in the near future.
