The former Real Madrid and France midfielder has joined the Premier League side's coaching staff, reuniting with new boss Paul Clement
Claude Makelele has joined Swansea City as assistant coach to new boss Paul Clement until the end of the season.
The former France and Real Madrid midfielder previously worked alongside Clement when he was part of Carlo Ancelotti's background staff at Paris Saint-German, having previously been at Chelsea together when Clement started working with the first-team under Guus Hiddink.
Clement took over first-team duties at Swansea at the start of 2016, replacing Bob Bradley after his sacking, being handed the task of saving them from relegation from the Premier League with the team currently sitting second bottom.
