Luke Littler suffered another shock defeat in the Players Championship 4 on Tuesday as he crashed out in the first round.
The 17-year-old was looking to continue his impressive form since his meteoric rise in darts when he reached the World Championship final at the start of this year, and had set up the Championships well when he won the first event last week.
Littler hit a nine-dart finish in the tournament as he blew the competition away on his way to victory, but was dumped out by Radek Szaganski on the second day and lost against Callan Rydz on Monday.
