Former Liverpool forward Robbie Keane has showered encomium on Mohamed Salah, calling him ‘phenomenal’ following his impressive form since he departed Chelsea.
The 26-year-old failed to blossom after joining the Stamford Bridge side from Basel in 2014 and had to leave for Italy where he resurrected his career playing for Fiorentina and Roma.
Last season, the forward continued the imposing form in his debut campaign with the Anfield outfit, scoring 44 goals across all competitions and winning the Premier League Golden Boot, PFA Player of the year among other individual awards.
On Sunday, the Egypt international was on target to help the Reds to a 4-0 victory over West Ham United in their opening league game.
