Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino admits he'll '100%' cry on his Anfield farewell

It turns out the chant that boomed around the King Power Stadium has been given plenty of airtime in Roberto Firmino’s car this week, too.

Liverpool’s departing hero is a reluctant interviewee but, within a couple of minutes of sitting down in a room at the club’s training ground, he is divulging – at the request of three of his daughters – he’s been singing: “Si senor, give the ball to Bobby and he will score!”

Firmino is the player who most characterises Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp – relentless, talented and high-achieving – and that song is homage for everything he has done.
