Liverpool stars visit children's hospital before Manchester United game

Liverpool’s players were able to take time out from their preparations for the busy festive period to spread some Christmas cheer to children at Alder Hey hospital.

The likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and club captain Jordan Henderson took an afternoon out on Wednesday to put a smile on the young faces at the children’s hospital.

The team – with manager Jurgen Klopp in tow – donned Santa hats and posed for a number of pictures with the kids after finishing their morning training session at Melwood.
