Liverpool and Man City lead Munich Air Disaster anniversary tributes

United's Premier League rivals have sent messages of support, with the likes of Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney also posting on social media

Manchester United have been remembering those that died in the tragic Munich Air Disaster in 1958, with players and rival teams also sending their messages of unity.

Twenty-three people lost their lives after an aircraft carrying the United team crashed on its third attempt to take off from the runway at Munich-Riem Airport on Febryary 6, 1958.

The club plans to honour the victims, who included members of the famous 'Busy Babes' team, with a service outside Old Trafford on Monday.
