Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool need to find consistency to avoid missing out on a top-four finish in the Premier League after his side suffered a damaging defeat by struggling Leeds at Anfield.
The defeat leaves Liverpool eight points adrift of Newcastle in fourth, albeit with a game in hand.
The Reds beat Premier League leaders Manchester City on 16 October but have since lost to bottom-of-the table Nottingham Forest and now Leeds.
"You can't qualify for the Champions League if you play as inconsistently as we do at the moment," Klopp said.
"We have to fix that.
