Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Leroy Sane will be out for 'up to six weeks' after suffering ankle ligament damage against Cardiff.
The Germany star was injured by a high tackle from defender Joe Bennett as City launched a counter attack during their 2-0 win in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Guardiola called for players to receive more protection after watching Sane be forced off at half-time following the studs-up challenge.
More to follow.
