Leicester's summer splurge finished off by the deadline day capture of Islam Slimani has left them with a squad capable of challenging on all fronts, according to Andy King.
The Premier League champions have brought in six new players at a cost of around £70million and King believes that strengthening means they can mount a title defence and make a mark in the Champions League.
Leicester have also committed a number of existing players to longer and better deals, the latest being Danny Simpson, who has signed a new £50,000 per week contract to 2019.

'We obviously didn't want to rest on our laurels from last season,' King said.
