Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa has an offer from Spanish side Alaves but they will struggle to pay his £12m transfer fee.
Ulloa has contemplated handing in a transfer request after finding himself further down the pecking order this season with the Premier League champions, but Leicester are keen to offer him a new contract.
The former Brighton striker is desperate for first-team football, with Ahmed Musa being used in the absence of Islam Slimani, while Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki remain preferred options.
The 30-year-old Argentine is believed to want to remain in the Premier League, with West Brom, Hull, Sunderland and Swansea all interested in the forward.
