Leicester's hierarchy will begin their search for Craig Shakespeare's replacement in a positive frame of mind after this timely reminder of their attacking strength.
Shinji Okazaki was their star performer and match-winner at Swansea but Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton were also excellent in a fluent performance going forward.
Although Swansea were limited opposition, Leicester's dominant performance proved their position in the Premier League relegation zone was false and their second win of the season lifted them to 14th.


Claude Puel, Sean Dyche and Manuel Pellegrini are among the candidates but whoever comes in will have plenty to work with and a first league win since August 19 to build on.
