Gary Rowett says the chance to manage his former club Leicester City would be an 'amazing opportunity' as the race to replace Claudio Ranieri begins in earnest.
Rowett, who spent two seasons with the Foxes between 2000 and 2002, has been without a job since being sacked by Birmingham in December, but their struggles since his departure has only seen his stock rise.
The 42-year-old has been linked with several posts and admits he is waiting for the right opportunity to come along before throwing himself back into management. Replacing Ranieri at the King Power, it seems, would be a fitting proposition.
