Leicester full back Danny Simpson admits the champions' struggles this season have been a shock to the system.
The Foxes are just a point above the Premier League relegation zone after Sunday's 3-0 defeat to Manchester United.
It was their fourth straight loss - with Claudio Ranieri's side yet to score a league goal in 2017 - and Simpson conceded the Foxes have found this season harder than expected, but they are fully behind Ranieri.
He said: 'Because of our situation, that is the papers trying to stir the pot.
