Leicester City have confirmed that their fourth-round Carabao Cup clash with Southampton will now be played on November 27 following its postponement in the wake of Foxes chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha’s death on Saturday.
The 60-year-old owner of the Premier League club lost his life, alongside four others, after his helicopter crashed shortly after its 20:30 local time take-off into the King Power Stadium’s car park following City’s 1-1 draw with West Ham on Saturday.
Tributes have poured in throughout the week for the Thai billionaire, who purchased the club in 2010 and helped to set out their shock Premier League triumph in 2015-16 under manager Claudio Ranieri.
