Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri confident Leonardo Ulloa will not leave despite transfer request

Claudio Ranieri believes Leonardo Ulloa will stay at Leicester beyond this window despite the Argentine striker handing in a transfer request.

Leicester have received a bid from La Liga side Alaves for Ulloa, understood to be around £5million, but the club are adamant only double that figure would give cause for consideration.

Ulloa has been disgruntled at his playing time this season but while Ranieri admits he does not wish to keep unhappy players, Leicester are not minded to sell. Swansea, Hull and Sunderland have all been interested previously but are yet to make a move this January.
