Leeds United have suffered a major blow as top scorer Rodrigo is facing two months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery.
The club confirmed the news in a message on social media, after the Brazilian-born Spanish international suffered an ankle injury in their 3-1 FA Cup victory over Accrington Stanley.
Rodrigo sustained the injury in a challenge during the match, and suffered ligament and bone damage to his ankle which required minor surgery.
The 31-year-old could miss up to eight Premier League matches if the injury keeps him out until the beginning of April.
