Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams tweeted out a heartfelt message in the aftermath of his side's relegation from the Premier League.
Adams was one of the best midfielders for The Whites this season, but he underwent surgery on his hamstrings in March and missed the rest of the campaign.
The United States captain expressed his frustration at how the season turned out.
'It's not just been a tough few days reflecting on what happened, it's been a tough couple of months having to watch from the sidelines and be unable to help my team, teammates, and you guys, the fans, to keep us in the Premier League,' he tweeted.
