Leeds United have confirmed that 49ers Enterprises have approval to complete their purchase of the club from former owner Andrea Radrizzani.
On Monday evening, the club tweeted: '#LUFC can announce that the EFL has approved the sale of the Club to 49ers Enterprises, paving the way for the immediate transition of ownership.'
American investment group 49ers Enterprises already owned 44% of the Yorkshire club, but have now agreed a deal to purchase the remaining 56% from Andrea Radrizzani.
Leeds were relegated from the Premier League last season, and will begin their Sky Bet Championship season next month.
