Everton manager Willie Kirk believes Sandy MacIver showed her credentials to be England's number one goalkeeper in the Toffees' Women's FA Cup final defeat to Manchester City.
Kirk's side were beaten 3-1 in extra time by City, who won the competition - which was initially suspended by Covid-19 but then resumed and completed when the new 2020-21 season began - for the second year running.
However, it was MacIver who was named player of the match at Wembley Stadium, despite the result.

The 22-year-old has been called up to recent England camps under Phil Neville, but has yet to make her first senior appearance, with Covid-19 restricting the Lionesses to just three games in 2020.
