Jurgen Klopp's plan to convince Timo Werner to join Liverpool has been thrown into doubt by the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
According to German newspaper Bild, the Reds boss is hoping to meet with Werner in person in a bid to talk him into a big money move to Anfield.
The RB Leipzig striker is said to have a £51million release clause which expires on June 15, giving Klopp just two months to finalise a deal.
However, government guidelines on non-essential travel and social distancing have left Klopp's plan to meet Werner face-to-face in tatters.
