Julian Nagelsmann is demanding a key role in transfer decision making if he is to take the Tottenham job, according to a report.
Spurs are on the hunt for a new manager after Antonio Conte was sacked last month, with Cristian Stellini relieved on his interim duties on Monday.
Nagelsmann has been in the running since Conte left his role, but little progress seems to have been made in making the appointment.
Spurs are looking for their third permanent manager in two years following Conte's exit, and are on their third manager of this season with Ryan Mason taking over from Stellini.
