Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has lent his backing to club owners Fenway Sports Group despite the increasing clamour for them to sell up after the European Super League fiasco.
John W Henry apologised to the supporters, players and staff in a filmed address on Wednesday and took full responsibility for the 'disruption' caused after the so-called Big Six dropped out of the competition.
Protests at every club against their hierarchies have taken place over the last few days, however, with sections of the Liverpool fanbase calling for FSG to step away - although Henderson has insisted the company have been 'good'.
