Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will face no further action for his full-blooded tackle on Paul Pogba.
During Manchester United's 2-0 win at St James' Park on Wednesday night, Shelvey caught Pogba on the back of the knee with his studs showing in a nasty collision.
Match official Andre Marriner spotted the foul though and did award the Red Devils a free-kick but opted not to issue a card to the Englishman.
This means the tackle was considered dealt with by the football authorities and no retrospective action can be taken by the FA.
