West Ham striker Jonathan Calleri has welcomed the chance to impress in the Premier League on a season-long loan deal with Slaven Bilic's side.
The young Argentinian, 22, trained for the first time with the Hammers on Tuesday after arriving from Uruguayan club Deportivo Maldonado.
Calleri didn't feature in Monday's defeat at Chelsea, his loan switch delayed by his participation in the Rio Olympics and a hold-up over international clearance. But now the player is keen to adapt to life in England ahead of West Ham's second game of the campaign at home to Bournemouth on Sunday.
