John Terry's Chelsea exit timing questioned by Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher: 'I can't think why that suits the dressing room at all'

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher questioned the timing of Chelsea's decision to announce that John Terry will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Terry will call time on an illustrious 22-year association at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season but insists he is 'eager' to continue playing.

The 36-year-old has been a Blues stalwart, joining the club's academy aged 14 and making his first-team debut 1998. In a joint statement made on Monday afternoon with the club, it was revealed that partnership will soon cease.
