John Stones is set to be rewarded with a place in the England squad for March's World Cup qualifying triple-header thanks to his fine form for Manchester City, according to reports.
Stones has been absent from the England set-up for 14 months, having last played for the Three Lions back in November 2019 against Montenegro after dropping out of favour under Pep Guardiola at City.
But according to the Telegraph, Stones' dramatic upturn in form at the Etihad has put him on the brink of an England recall ahead of this summer's Euros, and he is set to earn a spot in the squad for March's fixtures against San Marino, Albania and Poland.
