Joe Gomez is making big steps in his recovery from season-ending knee injury as Liverpool star shares video of himself starting ball work in the gym and jogging outside after Jurgen Klopp ruled the England defender out of the Euros

Joe Gomez appears to be making big steps in his recovery from his season-ending knee injury after sharing a video of himself starting ball work in the gym and jogging outside.

This week Jurgen Klopp said it was 'unlikely' the Liverpool and England defender would play at the postponed Euros this summer following surgery in November to repair a knee tendon.

The Liverpool boss is hoping Gomez will return for pre-season, but the centre-back gave Reds fans a boost by posting a video of his recovery on Instagram.
