Liverpool have finally reached an accord with Southampton for the transfer of Virgil van Dijk, The Telegraph claims.
The report suggests secret negotiations have been moving quickly in recent days and the deal could be tied up before the transfer window even opens in January.
The centre-back stands to make around £180,000 per week and will get his wish to work with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
Man City and Chelsea retain an interest in the Netherlands international but would have to move quickly to beat Liverpool's record-breaking offer (for a defender) of £75 million.
