Jamie Vardy is expected to return to the Leicester squad for the Premier League visit of Liverpool but Matty James faces another injury lay-off.
Vardy missed the Carabao Cup game against Jurgen Klopp's team on Tuesday night having been withdrawn late on in the draw at Huddersfield last weekend with a groin injury.
The England striker had been unable to train because of the problem but he did some work on Friday and it is hoped he will be back in contention when Liverpool return to the King Power Stadium tomorrow.
Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare said: 'We had to take it easy with Jamie the first part of the week but he trained this morning.
