The son of David Reuben - part of the consortium who wanted to buy Newcastle - has suggested that the club's £300million takeover is still alive after showing support for a legal letter served to the Premier League.
Jamie Reuben, 33, who left his role from the QPR board recently due to a possible conflict, wrote 'best fans #nufc' in response to a story that Magpies fans have sent a letter to the Premier League over alleged anti-competition law breaches.
Newcastle Consortium Supporters Limited's Gordon Stein and Keith Patterson have sent a 'Letter Before Action' to the League claiming the curtailment of the proposed takeover was in breach of anti-competition law in the UK, according to The Shields Gazette.
