James Maddison hits back at a Leicester fan who questioned his 'respect' for the club after wishing Wesley Fofana well in Chelsea move and insists his exit was 'best for all parties' because he 'desperately' wanted to leave

James Maddison has had to defend himself on social media after he was questioned by a Leicester fan over his 'respect' for the club.

The 25-year-old took to Twitter to wish former team-mate Wesley Fofana well, after the French defender completed a £69.5million move to Chelsea on Wednesday.

After Chelsea unveiled their latest signing, Maddison hit back at comments from the supporter, while also saying Fofana's move was 'probably best for all parties'.
