'It's not nice seeing people getting injured': England defender Eric Dier hits out at crazy fixture scheduling after 'terrible' injury for team-mate Joe Gomez

Eric Dier has added to the growing criticism of the Premier League and broadcasters for a fixture schedule that he says is putting players’ health at risk.

Joe Gomez became the latest player to suffer a serious fatigue-induced injury as a knee tendon gave way during England training last week.

Injuries are increasing with the demand to fit all internationals, European matches and domestic football into nine months before the European Championship.
