Italy's minister for sport Vincenzo Spadafora has admitted it would be 'much easier' for officials to end the Serie A season now, without another ball being kicked.
There has been no Italian top flight action since March 9 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but while other leagues have been cancelled Italy are still pressing ahead with plans to finish the current season when they can.
The Premier League is keen to do the same thing, but one of Italy's top sporting figures has admitted it would be a lot easier to just give up, insisting that finishing the season is not definitely going to be possible.
