Pepe Reina has called out the footballing authorities for their delay in postponing fixtures in England this week.

Football in the UK was cancelled on Friday following the coronavirus outbreak but only after the announcement that the Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta tested positive for COVID-19.

Now, Aston Villa and former Liverpool goalkeeper Reina has said people must take this pandemic seriously, stating that the 'life and the health of all is much more important than any sport.'

'Here in England, they have recommended prudence and try to be at home as calm as possible,' Reina told Spanish outlet Marca.
