Premier League clubs have come under fire from a government committee as a number of sides continue to place non-playing staff on furlough.
Liverpool became the highest profile team to announce they were putting workers on the job retention scheme before backtracking after a wave of criticism, and there have been calls for Tottenham to follow suit after they undertook the measures.
Other top flight teams to have placed their staff on leave include Bournmeouth, Norwich and Newcastle, and Premier League chief executive Richard Masters came out in defence of clubs choosing to use the scheme, saying they had shown 'restraint'.
