Isaac Success struck to help Watford secure a 2-0 victory over Reading in Wednesday's League Cup second round encounter, thus, ending his 22-month goal drought.

A combination of fitness and disciplinary issues have halted the progress of the one-time club record signing, who spent part of the 2017-18 season in an unsuccessful loan spell at Malaga.

Since his first ever goal for the Hornets - which came against Bournemouth in an English Premier League tie on October 1, 2017 - the former Nigeria youth international has yet to find the back of the net.

However, the striker got the curtain raiser in the 37th minute to set the visitors on their path to victory over Paul Clement's side.
