INSIDE Liverpool's new £115m main stand: 5,000 tonnes of steel, an underground entrance and a Hillsborough memorial

Liverpool's new £115million main stand has been officially opened and will be enjoyed by fans for the first time on Saturday, when Jurgen Klopp's men face Premier League champions Leicester.

The 20,500-seater stand, which took 1.8m bricks and blocks, 5,000 tonnes of steel and 614 days to build, has caused change throughout Anfield.

A new tunnel has been constructed at the players' entrance while the famous Shankly Gates have been moved to the corner of the Centenary and Anfield Road stands.
