Bruno Fernandes says he clashed with Pep Guardiola during the Manchester derby because the City boss didn't show him respect.
The two men became involved a touchline spat towards the end of United's 2-0 win at Old Trafford when Guardiola threw the ball away and Fernandes then put his finger to his lips in a 'sssh' gesture as they exchanged words.
Fernandes, who continued his excellent start at United by setting up the first goal for Anthony Martial, says he might react differently now but was only giving Guardiola the disrespect shown to him by the Spaniard.
