Impressive squad depth helps Arsenal prevail as Xhaka continues fine form

Two games, two goals. Granit Xhaka has done a pretty good job of proving that he’s ready to start week in, week out for Arsenal over the past few days.

His strike in the closing stages of the Gunners’ 4-1 over Hull was an emphatic way to announce himself to the Premier League - and he repeated that feat in the first half of Arsenal’s League Cup clash against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
